Common questions

How do I play?

Match pairs of free tiles with the same symbol until the board is clear. To see the short tutorial again, open Settings and choose How to play.

I'm stuck. What can I do?

Use Hint to see a pair that keeps the puzzle winnable, Undo to take back moves, or Remix to shuffle the tiles that are left. If no pairs are left, the game tells you which of these can still help.

How do I open the harder levels?

Clear 10 Easy puzzles to open Medium, 10 Medium puzzles to open Hard, and so on up to Master. You can also hold your finger on a locked puzzle to skip ahead to it.

Is my progress saved?

Yes, automatically. You can close the game at any time and pick up where you left off.

Progress is saved on your device only. If you delete the game, your progress is deleted with it, and it does not move to a new device on its own.

Does it work without an internet connection?

Yes. Every puzzle, including the daily puzzle, is built into the game. Ads in the free version need a connection; without one, you simply see none.

How do I change how the tiles look?

Open Settings and choose Tile style. Original is always there. Mahjong, Ocean and Night sky open as you clear more puzzles, and the picker shows how many are left for each. Changing style only changes the pictures, never the puzzle.

Can I listen to music or a podcast while I play?

Yes. The game does not interrupt audio from other apps. You can turn the game's sound effects and music off in Settings. The silent switch on your iPhone also mutes the game.

The animations are too much for me

Open Settings and turn on Reduce motion.

How do I remove ads?

Open Settings and choose Remove ads. It is a single one-time purchase, not a subscription, and it removes every ad for good.

I bought Remove Ads but I still see ads, or I have a new device

Open Settings and choose Restore purchases. Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple Account you used to buy it.

I want a refund

Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds are too. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with the Apple Account you used.

How do I change my ad privacy choices?

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, open Settings and choose Privacy options. To change the tracking choice, open your device's Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Tracking.
